Issued at the height of the “Summer Of Love” of 1967, Flowers In The Rain encapsulated the mood of the era, spent three months at No.2 in the UK pop charts, enraged a British Prime Minister and was the perfect song with which to launch the BBC’s brand new all-pop station, Radio 1.
The single, freshly mixed in stereo, is to be made available by Salvo in partnership with Fly Records as a limited edition 7-inch vinyl and 4-track CD EP. The EP contains a newly discovered instrumental mix of Fire Brigade, which is exclusive to this release.
